Pray For Her

Prayers goes to all women in India, and all over the world.
Victims of sexual assults, harassment, abuse, violence....

It would not be right if I keep silence after what I have read about whatever happening in India.

From what I've observed from most Asian newspapers and websites, the tragedy seems to be nothing more than an rape incident happened and developed into chaotic protests. Other than the Indian people, I didn't see much of Asian condemning what's happening and express their concerns publicly.

Have you read these? In just the days that followed, all happening amid of the anger protests in India:
  1. A 10-year-old was gang-raped, killed and her body thrown in a canal in another part of India.
  2. A 14-year-old schoolgirl was left in critical condition after being raped by four men.
  3. On Wednesday, a 12-year-old was raped by three men as she walked to her grandparents' house.
  4. On Thursday, a 17-year-old girl had committed suicide after police reportedly pressured her to marry one of the men who raped her last month or, at least, accept a financial settlement.

All of them are below 18 years old.

Have you seen on the YouTube, how many women had been PUBLICLY molested in front of big crowd, but no one is helping and no action taken against these men?

Do you know how India treats its women?

Do you think is this merely India's problem?

Have we done our part?

Are we going to allow these terrible circumstances going on?

How many of us have expressed our anger after reading the news? Is this less severe than the shooting massacre at Connecticut?

Yes, damn right, I am upset having seeing the world is allowing this.

This is not just the responsibility of India, but the responsibility of human race to protect the rights of every person. It is merely more critical in India, and some parts of the world, for women and children. We need meaningful action.

The below statement from UN Secretary Ban Ki-moon, well said.
Violence against women must never be accepted, never excused, never tolerated.

Pray for her, pray for every woman.
